Doug and Petra, Wedding Preview

Last weekend we got to spend the day with Petra and Doug at the Buhl Mansion out in Sharon. We started off the day with Petra at the salon, then we all headed over to the mansion so everyone could get dressed. Before Petra got dressed she had us deliver a little present to Doug. The look on his face when he opened it was priceless! After everyone was dressed and ready to go, the couple Skyped with Doug’s grandmother who couldn’t make it to the wedding. Then everyone headed outside for the ceremony. The rain held off just long enough for the couple to get married and to get a few beautiful shots after the ceremony. The rain came during the reception, but the couple still danced the night away.
Kristin and Ben, Wedding Preview

For Kristin and Ben’s wedding we had the pleasure of shooting at the amazing church at St. Vincent’s College, the couple’s alma mater. The couple exchanged their vows, then after the ceremony we headed to a few locations around the campus to take photos. The couple found this gorgeous railroad trellis and gave us the chance to get some amazing, edgy shots.
Mike and Holly, Wedding Preview

We love it when we get a lot of time to shoot details at a wedding. With Mike and Holly we got the chance to take her beautiful dress and shoes outside for some shots. Once we got done, Holly put on her dress and let us get some shots of her in the yard. Then we all headed to the church for the beautiful ceremony. We had a great time doing shots after the ceremony, heading over to the Carnegie Institute and Heinz Field. Then the group headed off to the reception to enjoy the rest of the night.
Deanna and Al, Wedding Preview

Recently we had the pleasure of shooting Deanna and Al’s wedding. The ceremony and reception were held in the same location, giving us the whole day to spend with Deanna. It was a gorgeous day to get married and everything was beautiful. After the ceremony we grabbed the pair for a quick photo session outside. Then it was time to dance the night away!
Vince and Sam, Wedding Preview

Yesterday we photographed Vince and Sam’s wedding, and after doing their engagement we knew it was going to be so much fun. We met Sam at the church to take shots while she got her makeup done by Debi Maker. While she was getting that done, we took the time to get the guys putting on their tuxes. Then it was time to get married! Sam looked absolutely gorgeous, and the pair gave us a large selection of kissing shots. After the receiving line, it was time for posed photos, and for the bridal party to be wild. Then we took the couple for some shots alone in a wooded area near the church, where they got to enjoy some “alone” time. Then we headed to the reception site, for some food, drinks, and dancing the rest of the night away.
Megan and Brent, Wedding Preview

Last weekend we had a blast with Megan and Brent, along with their huge, wild and crazy bridal party! The whole day was perfect, from getting ready, (Megan looked gorgeous before she even got the dress on!) to the beautiful ceremony. The weather held out and gave us a chance to get some gorgeous outdoor shots before we headed out to the reception.
Kaitlin and Kyle, Wedding Preview

Last weekend we got to head up to Grove City for Kaitlin and Kyle’s wedding. It was a gorgeous day, and despite forecasts for thunder storms, the sun stayed out for our photos! We were with Kaitlin for the start of her day, getting ready at her parent’s house. We got to see some of the cute details she incorporated into her wedding, like the amazing pillow for the ring. As the girls were getting ready, we got a few shots then headed to the church, located on the college. After the ceremony, we got to take part in a tradition in Kaitlin’s family, where everyone waved handkerchiefs as the couple left the church. Then it was time for formal photos, so we took the bridal party to do some shots on the main street. They were a fun bunch! When it came time for the couple to pose alone, the old movie theater made a perfect setting. Once we were done, everyone went to the reception to party the night away!
Jessica and Kevin, Wedding Preview

Jessica and Kevin’s wedding last weekend was another beautiful wedding in an amazing location. The ceremony and reception were held at West Overton Village. The girls got ready in the museum, a beautiful old house with amazing color and a great vintage feel. Once everyone was ready, they went to the ceremony, in a beautiful outdoor garden. After the ceremony, we took the couple to do some shots with the gorgeous, civil war-era barns. The reception was held in one of the large barns on the property, and was absolutely stunning. The rustic brick walls and old wood worked well with the couple’s lively pink and green color scheme, seen on their gorgeous cake! The whole night was rocking after dinner, and a few of the guests had a spin around the dance floor with Jessica!
Malorie and Mouad, Wedding Preview

Last weekend we got to do a wedding at one of our favorite places, Phipps Conservatory, with Malorie and Mouad. They got married during the golden hour, in the outdoor garden. The decor was very colorful and had a lot of details that tied into Mouad’s Moroccan hertiage. The couple was so fun and laid back, it was an absolute blast from the second they arrived. Malorie wore some of the wildest shoes we’ve ever seen at a wedding! The ceremony itself was gorgeous, the pair got married in from of a small fountain in the outdoor gardens, in the gorgeous golden light of the setting sun. After the ceremony finished, the couple walked back down the aisle as guests lit their way with sparklers! Once we finished up family photos, we ran off for some shots of Malorie and Mouad alone in some of the beautiful gardens surrounding Phipps. We returned just in time for dinner, and everyone took a little break to enjoy the evening. Before we left, though, we made sure the couple got a chance to play with the sparklers too!
Chris and Anita, Wedding Preview

Chris and Anita picked a perfect weekend to get married, and we got the chance to enjoy the beautiful weather (and photo opportunities!) with them. We started the day off with Anita while she got her hair and makeup done, and got a ton of great shots. Then it was off to the ceremony! We mananged to catch Chris getting his boutonniere pinned on before it was time for everyone to walk down the aisle. After the ceremony we took the couple out for some lovely summer-y garden shots. Then it was time to head over to the reception at the Omni William Penn Hotel. The reception was gorgeous. The lighting was beautiful and leant itself to some great dancing shots!
