We had a great time with Cassie and Trista down in the South Side for their engagement photos. They let us go completely wild, which yielded some great results. The couple really worked well in the urban jungle, which lended itself to a great variety of backdrops!

So, in an attempt to update the look of our blog, posting will have a slightly different format. We’re looking to do something a little more fresh and modern, with BIGGER PHOTOS!

Last week we had the pleasure of attending Becky and Mike’s wedding. Despite our photo session getting rained out, the day went well, we got a chance to take a few photos of Mike on his family’s gorgeous property. They were a really fun couple and even with the issues from the weather, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with.

A few months ago, we had the chance to photograph Jen and Sean at some of the coolest places in Pittsburgh, and last weekend it was finally time for their wedding! The church was absolutely gorgeous, and after their lovely ceremony, we went up to Grandview Park for some shots of the couple against the city. Afterwards we all headed to the reception, and crazy dancing ensued. The whole night was great!

Two weeks ago, we got to enjoy Emily and David’s wedding. We started off at the Salon with Emily, then off to her house for some photos with the make-up artist. Then we ran off to the church to get photos of both Emily and David getting ready. After the ceremony, we did a few shots outside of the Garden Theater then went to the gorgeous reception at the Grand Hall. It was a beautiful night!

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of shooting Jammie and Zak’s wedding out in Kittaning, PA. The ceremony was great and we had a total blast at the reception.

We had a great time at Tanya and Tony’s wedding, which took place at Phipps Conservatory. It was a dual ceremony, and a great oppertunity for us to learn about some of the aspects of an Indian marriage ceremony. The recepetion was also held at Phipps, which gave us a chance to photograph the couple in a few of the beautiful gardens.

The three of us had a great time at Angie and Don’s wedding, from the second we started shooting Angie getting ready until we took the very last shot at the reception. With a ceremony at St Pauls, there’s no way we weren’t going to get stunning  shots down the aisle! The reception was followed up with some shots taken on windy Mt Washington where Angie’s veil took a dive off the mountain! Then it was off to Bella Sera for the gorgeous reception.

We had an excellent shoot with the band Lovebettie a few weeks ago before their concert at the Hard Rock Cafe on 5-15. They were great to work with, and really went all out. Check out their music via myspace: http://www.myspace.com/lovebettie

Friday we had the pleasure of being with Tanya the day before her wedding ceremony. The two part of the ceremony were called Devkaaren and Tel. It was a wonderful experience for us to be involved in this part of the wedding ceremony, and it gave us the chance to get to know Tanya’s side of the family before the wedding. They were all so nice, and the whole day was just so amazing. (And the food was to die for!)
