Doug and Petra, Wedding Preview

Last weekend we got to spend the day with Petra and Doug at the Buhl Mansion out in Sharon. We started off the day with Petra at the salon, then we all headed over to the mansion so everyone could get dressed. Before Petra got dressed she had us deliver a little present to Doug. The look on his face when he opened it was priceless! After everyone was dressed and ready to go, the couple Skyped with Doug’s grandmother who couldn’t make it to the wedding. Then everyone headed outside for the ceremony. The rain held off just long enough for the couple to get married and to get a few beautiful shots after the ceremony. The rain came during the reception, but the couple still danced the night away.

Mike and Holly, Wedding Preview

We love it when we get a lot of time to shoot details at a wedding. With Mike and Holly we got the chance to take her beautiful dress and shoes outside for some shots. Once we got done, Holly put on her dress and let us get some shots of her in the yard. Then we all headed to the church for the beautiful ceremony. We had a great time doing shots after the ceremony, heading over to the Carnegie Institute and Heinz Field. Then the group headed off to the reception to enjoy the rest of the night.

We lucked out and Michelle and Mark got married in one of our favorite churches in the South Hills. The gorgeous stained glass made for great ceremony photos. After the ceremony the whole crew headed over to the country club for the reception. We got the chance to grab a few carts and go photograph everyone out on the greens. The day was perfect for outdoor shots. Then we let them go party the night away!
